Dr. Shertukde is presently a tenure Full Professor since 1995 at the University of Hartford.
He has published more than 40+ books as an author, co-author, collections editor or editor for different publishing houses.
Recently he founded his own publishing company : DDI Publishing in January of 2025. His latest two solo books were published by this publishing house.
All his 13 solo books are on Amazon.com.
He has five patents three of which are commercialized. He has received four IEEE Awards for his activities with the EAB and SA Boards in 2018, the centennial year of IEEE in NJ and PA. Awards were bestowed by IEEE- PES-CT Chapter, IEEE-TC
He has raised more than $10 mm for his companies and in 2004 received $4 mm for his patented product CADSCAN invented by him and his wife Rekha Shertukde, CAO of DDI and AngioScan LLC

About George W. Arnold, DES
George W. Arnold leads IEEE’s volunteer initiative to develop standards for AgeTech — technologies that support older adults with intuitive, interoperable, and safe solutions. With over 50 years of experience across industry, government, and standards bodies, he has held leadership roles at Bell Labs, NIST, and IEEE. A former Chairman of ANSI, Vice President of ISO, and President of the IEEE Standards Association, George is an IEEE Fellow recognized for his leadership in electric grid and telecommunications architecture. He holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Columbia University and continues to champion technology that advances quality of life for all.
About Krishna R. Pattipati
Dr. Krishna R. Pattipati is a Distinguished Professor Emeritus in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Connecticut, where he served as the Board of Trustees Distinguished Professor and the Collins Chair Professor of Systems Engineering. An IEEE Life Fellow and member of the Connecticut Academy of Science and Engineering, he is internationally recognized for his contributions to team decision-making, diagnostics and prognostics of complex systems, and discrete optimization algorithms. His research has influenced applications at NASA, the U.S. Navy, and semiconductor industries. A cofounder of Qualtech Systems, Inc., Dr. Pattipati has authored algorithms integrated into diagnostic and prognostic tools worldwide.
